Stagelink collects and uses your personal data only in the context of applicable data protection regulations, in particular, those of the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (German Federal Data Protection Act) and from 25 May 2018 those of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO/GDPR). Subject of data protection
The subject of data protection is personal data. This Includes all information that refers to an identified or identifiable natural person ("person concerned"), e.g. information such as name, postal address, email address, or telephone number, but also usage data. Usage data is the type of data that is required to use our websites, such as information about the beginning, end, and extent of the use of our websites and login data.
In principle, we collect and use your personal data only insofar as this is necessary for the provision of a functional website as well as our content and services, and only to the extent that you have consented to or as far the data processing is permitted by law.

Collection and use of your data
Automated data collection
When accessing Stagelink's websites, your Internet browser automatically communicates data for technical reasons, which is temporarily logged by default on our web servers. The following information is stored separately from any other information you may submit to us:
Date and time of access, browser type/version, operating system used, URL of previously visited website, amount of data sent.
This data is never assigned to a specific or identifiable person. The storage by the system is necessary to enable the delivery of our websites to your device and to ensure the functionality of the websites. Beyond that, the data is used to optimise our websites and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. Our legitimate interest in the processing of data for this purpose (Art. 6 para 1f GDPR).
Data entered by the user (ticket shop)
In order to be able to use the Stagelink ticket shop, you must enter your name, your complete address, and your email address in an input mask during the ordering process. This data is transmitted to us and stored.
Of course, you alone decide which data you want to share with us. Stagelink is committed to the principle of data economy. However, if you do not provide Stagelink with specific information, you may not be able to take full advantage of our websites. If you do not provide us with the data to be provided during the ordering process, there will be no contract for the purchase of a ticket or voucher between you and Stagelink.
The legal basis for the processing of this data is the fulfilment of a license agreement for the use of our websites and, where applicable, a subsequent purchase agreement between you and us, or the implementation of corresponding pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para 1b GDPR).
Stagelink needs your contact details and any other data sent to us by email or through a contact form in order to be able to respond to requests, questions, and criticism.
Furthermore, Stagelink gives you the opportunity to personalise your profile. For this purpose, you as an end user can change information, i.e. your telephone number, your email address and/or interests. As a user with "manager" status, you can also upload or modify artist profile pictures and/or videos. This information is voluntary and is not required to register on the Stagelink websites.
The legal basis for the processing of the voluntarily submitted data is, in case of consent, Art. 6 para 1a GDPR or in your own legitimate interest (Art. 6 para 1f GDPR). If a communication aims at the conclusion of a contract, the legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para 1b GDPR.
Stagelink offers discussion forums or other interactive areas or services on our website where you or any third party may voluntarily create, post, or save any content, news, commentary, materials, or other elements on the web pages ("interactive areas"). If you use an interactive area, you must be aware that these areas are open to the public and that others can view any personally identifiable information you post or provide at the time of registration. We cannot control how other visitors to our websites use this information. In particular, we cannot prevent unsolicited messages from being sent to you. Content posted in interactive areas can be stored indefinitely. If at any time you wish to have content removed, please send us a message to the above contact details.

When visiting the website, Stagelink will create usage profiles using pseudonyms for purposes of advertising, market research, or website design. Only usage data is used. This includes, in particular, features for the identification of the user, information about the beginning and end and scope of use of our website, as well as registration data. There is no merging with the data regarding the person behind the pseudonym. You may object at any time to the use of your data for such purposes with future effect. All you need to do is send an informal message to the above contact details.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para 1f GDPR. The purposes mentioned represent our legitimate interest in data processing.
Disclosure of data
To provide services, we occasionally may have to rely on third-party companies and external service providers, e.g. for advertising, customer service, payment processing (PayPal, credit card, direct debit) and the hosting or maintenance of our websites (IT service provider).
Stagelink will disclose your payment information to Paymill or PayPal for the processing of payment, provided that the payment is processed by credit card, direct debit (both Paymill) or PayPal (Art. 6 para 1b or Art. 49 para 1b GDPR).
In this context, the data may be transmitted to the USA or other states outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area, in which the EU Commission has not established any level of data protection comparable to the EU. In this case, we will ensure that the recipient applies either an adequate level of data protection, in particular by obtaining your explicit prior consent, self-certification by a US-based recipient of the EU-US Privacy Shield, or by agreeing to so-called EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the recipient in the third country. Stagelink offers a free newsletter service. With the newsletter, Stagelink will, in case of your consent, inform you by email about artists and/or events that may be of interest to you. in the newsletter, we furthermore inform you about offers and products of our cooperation partners in the fields of entertainment and events.
To receive the newsletter via email, you can declare your consent in your profile by ticking the appropriate box. We will log your consent. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by removing the checkmark. Each newsletter also contains a link through which you can cancel the newsletter with effect for the future.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data after registration for the newsletter or for sending the newsletter is Art. 6 para 1a GDPR, § 7 (2) No. 3 UWG (Protection against Unfair Competition Act, UC).
Stagelink stores so-called "cookies" in order to offer you a comprehensive range of functions and to make the use of our websites more comfortable (Art. 6 para 1f GDPR). Social Media Login
We offer you the option to register with an active Facebook, Google+ or Instagram account on our website to vote for artists using the appropriately marked buttons of the respective social media providers, to shorten the registration or log-in process on our website. The legal basis for the use of social plugins is therefore Art. 6 para 1a GDPR.
To register, you will be redirected to the page of the respective social media provider, where you can log in with your user data. This way, your respective social media profile and your visit to our website are linked. At no time do we receive information about your log-in data at a social media service. If you use the log-in function of one of the social media providers, they will, in any case, receive information about you, in particular, the fact that you visited our website and voted for an artist. Beyond that, your email address, a user ID, and information about certain "likes" may be transmitted back to Stagelink. As explained in more detail in the log-in process, this may depend on your individual approval.
We cannot completely rule out that even a company or contractor affiliated with a social media provider of a social media provider located in a country outside the EU / EEA has access to this information.
Rights of data subjects (affected persons)
Of course, you have the right, in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations, to receive information on the data we have stored about you. You also have the right to correct incorrect data, blocking and deletion and, if necessary, restricting data processing. In particular, you can delete your user account at any time with a message to the above contact details. Your profile will be completely and permanently deleted. By default, data collected by us via Google Analytics will be deleted after 14 months. In compliance with the applicable data protection regulations, we will also delete the personal data stored about you without your intervention if their knowledge is no longer necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which they were stored or if their storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons. In some cases, provided by law (such as statutory retention requirements), your data may be made inaccessible instead of being deleted. The data is then no longer available for further use.
